Another PGH ranked player, Avery is listed at #31 in the latest 2026 rankings, and her game has really blossomed over the past year. She has good size and can explode to the rim to score. Able to play physical and play through contact.
She also has a very good periemter game with range out behind the arc. I have seen her confidence in the game really blossom as she isn’t afraid to take the big shot. Solid defender and can pressure her opponent into mistakes. Good basketball IQ.

Her stock has really gone up the last year, including a huge jump in our August rankings. The junior can play multiple positions and is effective on both ends of the court. Good hands and active feet, she can knock down the midrange, or score at the rim. As her game continues to improve, watch for her stock to keep rising.

Her stock skyrocketed after a very good summer! Part of a very talented Waynesville team, Avery did a nice job with a quick shot and good range. Good aggressive player can body you up and play physical defensively. High motor and a smart player who does the little things for her team. Good ceiling for her! (feature photo above)

Excellent size and ability to play in the paint. Avery makes very good accurate passes. She can finish and rolls nicely off screens. Runs tough in transition and effectively fills lanes. She plays hard on both ends and has terrific footwork. She moves up in the ranking from the Watchlist to number 32.
