About Azalea

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Strong defensive player. Physical and quick . Able to guard anyone on the court. Offensively can play either an inside or outside position. Not afraid to drive hard to the basket.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very intense player that still likes to have a good time. Very committed and always plays with a positive attitude.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I love to play basketball and swim. I have been swimming on the Varsity swim team since seventh grade. I have even placed 16 at State and currently have the pool record in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 54.08. I am also on the A honor roll.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been playing on a team since fourth grade. It is always fun getting to play with different personalities and seeing everyone grow and have fun together.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being a primary post player and having to transition to a outside player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to go to a college that is going to help me grow both in academics and basketball.

Tesch, a 6-foot multi-sport athlete, is a strong, physical presence who thrives on effort and versatility. With a good-sized frame and non-stop motor, she’s a defensive force capable of guarding every position. Offensively, she can post up, face up, and attack off the dribble with growing confidence. Tesch plays with intensity and purpose, excelling in the pick-and-roll and embracing contact around the rim. Her combination of strength, quickness, and agility makes her a difficult matchup. With continued development on the perimeter, her already impressive all-around game will rise to another level.
