So far, fewer teams across the Palmetto State have been hit harder by what one would call a transfer portal more than Pickens. The Blue Flame will move from the 4A ranks to 3A as 2026-27 will be Pickens’ first season in 3A since 2015-16. Hardin is one of two formerly at Pickens that will bring their talents to Daniel – another team moving from 4A to 3A. Hardin would play in all 24 contests last season for the Blue Flame while averaging 12.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game. Coach Cosandar Griffin’s Lions have been known more for their guard play but having a veteran frontcourt force like Hardin will surely continue Daniel’s status as one of the toughest outs in the state as they move back to 3A. Hardin was also one of several team captains last year for Pickens.
