Braelynn gave Team 9 a strong presence in the paint during the 5v5 portion of the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase. She protected the rim well, coming away with multiple blocks, and consistently worked the glass on both ends. Her activity on the offensive boards led to second-chance opportunities that she converted into putback buckets. Braelynn also showed solid footwork around the rim, using her moves inside to create good scoring opportunities.

I got to watch her one game Saturday, and she showed me a nice variety of different skills. She is not a bad inside-out player. Does a nice job on the boards, can handle the ball pretty decent and is not afraid to let it fly. It’s about confidence and using her time wisely over the next couple months to continue to work on, sharpening her handles and just getting stronger in the paint.
