Grethe wasn’t afraid to pull it from beyond the arc, and she drained a smooth straightaway three off the bounce. Grethe used a quick inside-out dribble to create an open lane, then drove straight to the basket to earn a trip to the line. She knocked down the free throw with confidence. Her long and active hands disrupt passing lanes and create steals. Grethe showed confidence handling the ball with either hand in the open court. She was an active contributor for Team 5 at the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase and has the potential to be a very productive player in the Grandville program.

Grethe is a freshman prospect that I’m looking forward to seeing for the first time in person at the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase. I had the chance to watch her film during games with Michigan Premier ‘] on the PGH Michigan College Tour and she stood out. Grethe is a threat from three, uses her length to cause deflections, creates steals with her pressure, and finishes well in traffic. She’ll be a prospect looking to have a breakout performance on Saturday.

Grethe is a long, wing-forward prospect who stood out from the WMP 14U program. She finishes around the rim with good touch, cuts to the basket, disrupts passing lanes, and has the versatility to match up against multiple positions on the floor. Grethe swiped the ball away on the defensive end, pushed it the length of the court, and scored a tough, contested layup. She’s a perimeter threat and was a difference maker at the PGH MI College Tour III.
