2024 – KIPP: Brianna is not the biggest or tallest player on the court most nights but her dominating presence is felt when she is defending the inside. I had the opportunity to watch Gist play a couple of games last season and one thing is for sure – she has gotten better and showed much improvement in her body control and rebounding.

Brianna is a player I had a chance to see in person for the first time at the Dynasty Kick-off in Dallas a few weeks ago. I was impressed within the first 2 minutes of watching her play. She plays with a winning attitude and showed many disciplines habits when in tough situations – such as sliding her feet and not jumping for pump fakes. Instead, she consistently would wall up and play with her hands up, which actually help her stop many positions. She will rebound and push the ball in the open floor with pace, but displays court awareness to get the ball to the point guard. She attacks the basket with a purpose, can get to the rim and finish, and hit the mid-range jumper.
