is back in the top 10 of this class, and it was a shock that she was out of it to begin with.
Collins had a great sophomore season with Bergman, earning all-conference, all-state, all-region, and all-tournament honors, as well as being selected as a 3A all-star by Arkansas PBS. Collins averaged 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals a night during the 2024-25 season, but I imagine she starts to average close to 20 points during her junior year.
Collins is electric when she has it going. She can hit every look from three, and she is not afraid to drive through defenders and get to the basket. She can create shots with ease thanks to her solid handles, making defenders lose their balance and lose sight of their defensive assignment.

is another player who could fly up the rankings, so be prepared for that to occur.

has already been in the top 10 of the 2027 class, and she is close to making it back in again. After being an all-conference, all-state, all-region, and all-tournament selection this past season, she is well on her way to another top-10 position in her class.
Collins averaged 16 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals a game during her sophomore season. She was an excellent 3-point shooter and finisher, able to handle contact well inside the paint. Collins can get to any spot on the floor she wants with her solid handles and quick reactions to what the defense throws her way.
In addition to her 2 steals a game, Collins averages around 3 deflections a night, displaying just how active she is on the defensive end, and how no pass is safe when she is around. Once this Lady Panther has a paw on the ball, she will fly down the floor and come away with a score, whether she is taking it herself or facilitating.

comes in at #9 in the class of 2027 and for good reason. She has had multiple 20-point games this season while also filling up the other statistical categories.
Collins showcased what she would be doing all year during Bergman’s scrimmage versus Omaha on October 18th, as she went for 23 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 6 steals, 1 block, and shot 7/13 from the floor. In the win over Jasper in late October, Collins poured in 21 points, along with 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. One of Bergman’s most recent wins was against Earle, and the sophomore scored a season-high 26 points.
It is clear that Collins is one of the better scorers in the 3A classification, but she is also one of the best rebounding guards. She has natural athleticism and uses it to her advantage when crashing the glass. Collins rebounds aggressively, and she carries over that same effort to the defensive end. She guards very tightly along the perimeter, picking pockets easily and putting a hand on outgoing passes.
On offense, Collins can hurt you from both inside and outside. She has a solid 3-point shot, being able to launch it off the catch and off the dribble. Her handle allows her to get to any spot on the floor that she wants. She can use her speed to blow by the defense and get to the cup.

had 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals in Bergman’s December 6th match versus Flippin, and she looks to repeat that same effort against the Bobcats tomorrow evening.

after an exceptional performance from Collins. Iron sharpens iron and she really works hard on her game compared to Jacey. A gym rat herself, I find posts of her workouts and game footage. This 5’7 guard can put the ball on the floor and create for herself or teammates with ease. A vocal leader who fits like a glove in Coach Eichler’s game plan Brinley got off to an excellent start to the season. She stuffed the stat sheet with 23pts, 9rebs, 7assts, 6stls, and 3 deflections in the 1st game of the season. Followed that game up with a 15pt, 4reb, and 2asst outing in their 2nd match and most recently put up 21 pts (8/13) 9rebs, and 4asst in a 58-50 victory over Jasper on Oct. 29th. 24-25 will be huge for this sophomore and her skills won’t go unrecognized. Be on the lookout for this one!

Brinley is another “go to” defender! — she is fundamentally sound in numerous aspects of the game but Brinley seems like a player that takes pride in her defense. — she doesn’t “rest” on defense! Honestly, she seemed to put extra effort in on the defensive end to ensure that her team would come out on top!

From the first bucket of the very first game for “Team 1,” it was clear that Brinley was gonna be the one running the show. She oozed confidence and it rubbed off on her team, who were very close to making it through the day undefeated. The main thing that jumped out to me about Brinley was that she was absolutely unafraid. Unafraid to drive to the basket, regardless of the size of their post. Unafraid to pull the trigger from long range, should she get a little bit of room. Most importantly, unafraid to handle the ball. One-on-one, double team… it didn’t matter. It was almost like, “the more, the merrier.” She relished the opportunity to split the double team and show off her handles. She’s fun to watch and now, she’s an All-Showcase First Team performer!
