Against the strongest of defenders Halitzka showed composure under pressure and headiness with handles to create opportunities for herself and her teammates. While not the prettiest of releases Halitzka proved an ability to knock down perimeter shots including off the step-back. Nearly every on-ball defender she showed an ability to set them up and beat them off the dribble. Halitzka has a solid frame and used her headiness to make quality defensive decisions as well.

Bergman has a lot of players who are worth the price of admission, but Jacey Halitzka Jacey Halitzka 5'5" | SG/SF Bergman | 2027 State AR could have one of the best shooting seasons of any player in the 3A classification.

Halitzka has been lights out in shooting workouts this summer. She has worked hard to improve her catch-and-shoot ability, and I think that work will pay off.

Halitzka has already proven just how good of a shooter she is from beyond the arc. She made 116 triples this past season at a 40% clip. She had no problem shooting with a hand in her face or when she was several steps behind the 3-point line.

It is crazy to think that Jacey Halitzka Jacey Halitzka 5'5" | SG/SF Bergman | 2027 State AR could be an even better outside shooter as she heads into her junior season. If she improves her already elite shooting, she will be one of the most fun players to watch in the entire state.

Jacey Halitzka Jacey Halitzka 5'5" | SG/SF Bergman | 2027 State AR is another fantastic 2027 player from Bergman. She had a big regular season and postseason with the Lady Panthers, and she is ready to do it again while making a case to be in the top 10 of her class.

Halitzka showed off her elite shooting ability at the Heart of Texas Showcase a couple of weekends ago, particularly her ability to shoot off a screen. She has a quick release on her jumpers and has no problem shooting from well beyond the 3-point line. If the defense runs her off the perimeter, she can find their creases and force her way inside, scoring through traffic. 

Jacey Halitzka Jacey Halitzka 5'5" | SG/SF Bergman | 2027 State AR is one of the best shooters coming out of the 3A classification. If this incoming junior has an open look from beyond, defenses should be afraid of the result. After such a strong showing towards the end of the year, I would imagine that 2025-26 could be a breakout year for her.

A shooting guard that deep range. Started out hot and never cooled down the first game Saturday. Aggressive downhill driver in transition that likes to push the tempo baseline to baseline. Best move was a very smooth step back on defender for a 3 point shot. All out hustler on defense making her an exciting player to watch.

Jacey Halitzka Jacey Halitzka 5'5" | SG/SF Bergman | 2027 State AR is one of the best shooters in the 3A classification, which lands her in the top 15 of the 2027 ranking. She just cannot seem to miss when the defense needs her to the most, and her shooting efficiency will be important late in the year as Bergman looks to make a deep run.

Through the first 9 games of the season, Halitzka had made 35 3-pointers at a 44% clip. One of her best shooting games this season was in the crucial win over Jasper, where the Lady Panthers saw their sophomore sharpshooter unload for 6 made triples.

Halitzka is one of the best catch-and-shoot players in the class of 2027, and if her shot is in rhythm and the defense gives her just enough room, you better believe that shot is going through. She has been known for a while for this type of play, as she was a crucial part of the 2023/24 team that won the 3A state title.

Bergman High School Girls Basketball Team won the 3A State Championship with 2 freshman and Halitzka was a key factor in their success. Jacey had a game high last season of 32pts, shooting 6-7 from 3, and finishing 13-17 from the field. WOW! Her workouts consist of making 50 plus three pointers in under 3 minutes! The results of that type of drive led this amazing talent to hitting 99 three pointers last season…That’s right, one shy of 100. She’s apart of MO Phenom Arkansas 2027 and played in PGH circuit this past summer. #1 attended top prospect camps like Boo Williams and have been featured in articles across the region. Jacey is positioning herself to be on the radar in 24-25 and it will be an exciting season for this ” Arkansas Phenom”!
