Winning teams need players who can score the ball. Winning teams also need players who can put players in position to score the ball. That is what the veteran point guard out of 1A Athens Bible School got accomplished on Saturday morning. Piscitelli will display a great deal of court vision and will find passing lanes where teammates will finish plays. She also managed to display a willingness to get to the basket and had no issues drawing contact in order to get to the free throw line. Piscitelli, who was part of Rocket City Ravens during the AAU campaign, is also a multi-sport athlete who has volleyball and soccer as part of her athletic resume.

Our next profile takes us to the mountains of Alabama’s northern regions. Piscitelli is coming off an AAU campaign where she wore the uniform of Rocket City Ravens. Piscitelli stands at 5-foot-5 and she is very adept as a ball handler. She can get from one end of the floor to the other with the rock in her hand and can weave her way through a defense en route to a strong finish at the cup. Piscitelli understands the art of shooting the basketball from long range and has no issues drawing contact that can give herself – and her team – opportunities at the free throw line.
