Soash has been an instrumental piece for the Metro Stars ‘ 2028 3SSB squad this spring. The high-IQ floor general has excelled at both facilitating the team’s offense, as well as finding her own offense. With crafty footwork on the drive and the ball on a string, Brooke is at her best when scoring off the bounce. She was a top 10 scorer in division 1 at the AAU State tournament, finishing the weekend with 52 points in four games. On the other end of the floor, the Champlin Park sophomore is a hard-hat kind of player. Soash defends the ball with intensity and physicality, and consistently crashes the glass, relishing in the challenge of grabbing boards over much larger opponents.

As one of the premier point guards in the class of 2028, we have become extensively familiar with Soash’s game. In short, Brooke is a relentless, high-motor player who makes her living off of her court vision and passing, high pressure defense, speed, and tenacity. One of the highlights of the day was watching her cherry pick the ball from an opponent, go end to end, and finish with a spin move into the lane, followed by a silky smooth pull-up jumper. It was a thing of beauty. Brooke had an outstanding AAU season with the Fury that featured a state championship and a spot on our all-tournament first team.
