I hadn’t seen Brooklyn in a while, so Sunday presented me with a good chance to catch up with her game. She has always shown strength and physicality for her age, but now she is almost overpowering at times for opponents as a wing. When she attacks the basket, she absorbs contact well, and when she rebounds/defends inside, she’s able to move bigger forwards and posts at times. Add to that the fact she plays so hard, and I’m sure New Palestine opponents have to gameplan to keep her away from the paint. She has also worked to improve her ball skill and shooting.

Brooklyn has size, strength, and versatility that make her a tough matchup for opposing forwards. She stretches the floor with her outside range, makes smart reads off the ball, muscles her to the front of the rim to secure offensive rebounds, catches passes with strong hands, and finishes with a soft touch in traffic. Brooklyn scored multiple layups off basket cuts, went up strong to cause a foul, and buried both free throws with a confident stroke. She scored put backs and stepped out to the corner to swish a pair of threes. Brooklyn played a major role for Indy One 16U EYL at The Encore.

Brooklyn Crim Brooklyn Crim 5'9" | SF New Palestine | 2028 IN was effective around the basket, showing a strong ability to finish through contact and convert at the rim throughout the night. She played with confidence in the paint and consistently found ways to turn opportunities into points.

Her teammates also did a good job of finding her in scoring position, allowing Crim to stay active offensively and capitalize on high-percentage looks. Crim finished the night with 19 points, continuing to show growth as an interior scoring option.

If her current development carries into the upcoming season, she looks poised to increase her production and surpass her scoring average from last year, especially as she continues to expand her offensive consistency and impact.

She consistently played with poise, toughness, and confidence while making key contributions in a variety of ways. Crim’s versatility and willingness to do the little things allowed her to impact games beyond just scoring.

She showed the ability to stretch the floor offensively while also attacking defenders off the dribble when opportunities presented themselves. Crim also competed hard defensively and rebounded well for her position. Her consistency from event to event was noticeable, and she proved she can be relied upon against strong competition. After the spring she had, Crim continues to strengthen her case as a rising name in the rankings conversation.

Very strong physically, rebounder, gets set and in position. Brooklyn does a great job of sealing out her opponent. She’s effective both inside and out, makes good decisions with the basketball and she’s vocal, I like to see that in a player.
