Brooklynn is a monster player and highly rated recruit heading to South Dakota State University, a team currently in the top 25 of all Division 1 basketball. She is an absolute force around the rim and the best post I have seen at ducking in and finding advantageous positioning. She is averaging 19 points per game, 10 rebounds per game, and about 2 blocks per game. She shoots an incredible 67% from the field.

Brooklynn was totally and completely dominant against the Spartans. She was able to do whatever she wanted offensively. You can tell she has been coached well with how she uses her body to create advantages in the post. Her ability to seal and move around defenders without much effort is really impressive. There are maybe two to three defenders in the entire state who have a chance at slowing down Brooklynn this season. She finished Saturday’s game with 21 points and 9 rebounds, shooting an incredible 10/11 from the field.

If SDSU offers a North Dakota kid, she must be pretty special. If I am not mistaken, the last North Dakota basketball player to go to SDSU was Tylee Irwin, a stand out player from Wahpeton. SDSU is always the favorite to win the Summit League and make the NCAA tournament each season. They are often times ranked in the Top-25 rankings in the entire country, which is impressive for a Mid-Major program. Brooklyn can flat out play. Her footwork and pre-scoring positioning is so impressive. She is able to seal defenders early so that her scoring looks effortless. Brooklyn should be a 1st-Team All-State selection in 24-25, a WDA Senior Athlete of the Year finalist, and a Ms. Basketball Finalist.
