Schumaker is going to be an outstanding varsity player. She will continue in her reserve role this season but should be a two-year starter as a junior and senior on really good teams. I think she will have a chance at being an All-WDA player some day as well. She is very skilled already and has the ball on a string. She has a really good hesitation dribble that allows her to get past defenders. She is long and athletic, skilled, and can shoot the ball. Her frame and athletic ability is what college coaches look for in recruits. Hadley is just scratching the surface of how good she is going to be.

Shumaker is going to be a very good high school player. She battled some injuries last season that set her back a little but she was able to persevere and get back into the varsity rotation. She played well towards the end of the season and helped Bismarck Legacy to a 16-11 overall record and a 5th place finish at the state tournament. Hadley is a natural athlete on the floor and extremely quick and shifty. She has the ball on a string and doesn’t make many mistakes. She knew her role last season and played it well. I believe she is going to be fighting for big minutes in 2026-2027.
