Brynn left a lasting impression when I saw her play for the first time during the Select Super Showcase. Her length, physicality, strength, and impact on the game stood out. She was very disciplined on the defensive end, showing poise by not falling for multiple head fakes, maintaining excellent inside positioning against a drive, then timing the shot up perfectly for the block. Brynn went up strong, finished well off two feet, and muscled her way into position to score putbacks. One of her highlight moments came when she high-pointed a difficult lob entry pass, used an effective drop step pivot to get her defender on her hip, then powered through the contact to score a strong and-one finish. She tacked on the free throw to complete the three-point play.

Brynn is a young lady who no longer is flying under the radar. She makes a huge jump inside the top 15 and for great reason, this young lady can play! Her strength in the paint is impressive, her work ethic is elite as she looks to mold her game into a solid D1 player. She’s already proven that by getting an offer from Akron and she is no longer a hidden gem from me or anybody else. 

Ward is a double- double machine! She does a lot- can make it rain from outside and dominate on the block. Love her defense, times her blocks, and she consistently executes the plays! Brynn is tough to guard!

Brynn helped lead her team to a 4-0 weekend with her relentless effort and physical play. She battled hard on the glass to create extra opportunities and finished strong around the rim by backing defenders down and scoring over the top. Brynn also showed good vision as a passer, using her height to see over the defense.

One thing about this young lady, she is very proactive in her recruiting and keeps me up-to-date all the time on her progress! She is as complete of a player as you’re going to find. She has the size and physicality to be able to battle and score around the rim with excellent footwork and a great finishing move. She also runs the floor well in transition and finishes. Strong solid defender can alter and block shots and is scrappy enough to get after every loose ball.

She has outstanding body control and can handle her business around the rim. Good post defender, able to use her length to block shots. Quick hands and can react well to the play. Impressive footwork, can slide and score to the rim. She makes the jump to #32!

She is a good and strong physical presence in the paint. Good on the boards with strong hands. Able to finish and draw her defender to her. Excited to watch her game grow as she looks to be one of the key players in NW Ohio.
