Expert Analysis
Charles Foster | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Jordyn was highly effective operating from the right elbow and block, where she quietly put together eight consecutive points. Her scoring stretch highlighted why she is regarded as one of the top players in her class.
She combined physical strength on the block with finesse at the elbow, using controlled footwork to create space and rise into her jumper in rhythm. That blend of power and touch made her difficult to contain in half-court situations.
Defensively, Jordyn shows the versatility to guard multiple positions. Her college-ready frame and steady defensive stance allow her to hold position, switch when needed, and remain reliable across different matchups.

emerged as one of the best freshmen in the Indianapolis area this past season and already looks like a player capable of being in future Miss Basketball conversations.
Suggs impacts games with her athleticism, toughness, and ability to make plays on both ends of the floor. As a guard, she can push the pace, attack downhill, and create opportunities for teammates while also being capable of scoring herself.
What makes Suggs special is her two-way potential. She competes defensively, embraces physical play, and brings energy that affects winning. With her continued development and strong early résumé, Suggs is definitely one of the early names being watched in the race for future 2029 Indiana Miss Basketball honors.

has emerged as one of the most dynamic young offensive guards in Indiana’s Class of 2029. Playing for Lawrence North, Suggs brings speed, confidence, and toughness every time she steps on the floor. Offensively, she does a tremendous job creating opportunities off the dribble and attacking gaps in the defense.
Suggs is especially effective getting downhill and finishing through traffic, but she also has the ability to knock down perimeter shots and keep defenders honest. Her quick first step and ability to handle the basketball make her difficult to contain in one-on-one situations. What stands out most is the confidence and intensity she plays with offensively, consistently looking to make plays and put pressure on opposing defenses.

Jordyn is one of the more talented Freshmen in Indiana’s 2029 class. She has a strong, athletic frame, she moves well in most directions, plus she has a nice balance of skill and talent. Against her peers, she is strong enough to play physical inside the arc, whether that’s attacking the basket for scores, boxing out or pursuing rebounds, or defending forwards and undersized posts. Additionally, she can handle the ball, create off the dribble around the perimeter, or knock down rhythm jumpers from outside. Despite being a Freshman, she looked like a veteran for the Wildcats this Winter.

in an intense matchup against North Central was nothing short of exciting. Despite the pressure and pace of the game—especially as North Central made a late run—Jordyn remained poised and composed, showing maturity well beyond her years. She finished with an efficient 16 points, going 6-for-7 from the field and 4-for-5 from three, providing momentum-shifting shots and steady play when Lawrence North needed it most. Jordyn is already proving she has the talent, confidence, and upside to be a major piece for Lawrence North. With three more seasons ahead of her, she’s quickly emerging as one of the program’s next young stars.

Jordyn appears on our initial 2029 watch list, and after watching her again on Sunday, she showed why. She is a strong, somewhat physical wing, but she possesses really nice touch and buried two 3-pointers almost immediately upon entering the portion of the game I saw. She can handle it and push it up the floor in transition, plus she can get downhill North/South in the halfcourt. With a number of graduation and transfer losses, she could have a big role for the Lady Wildcats this Winter, as they go through a massive youth movement.
