If we are speaking of players posting consistent double-doubles in their efforts then it’s hard not to bring up Cadence Shiflett of Diagonal High School. Shiflett is a 6’0 PF/C, that handles and controls the space around the paint in an impressive way. Not to mention, she is a source for top-notch rebounding on both ends when she is motivated. Last night in Diagonal’s 18 points W, Shiflett registered a 20/20 outing. 20 Points and 20 Rebounds in total along with 6 blocks on the defensive side of the ball. It seems to me that Shiflett understands and knows her role within her team’s system. She sticks to the middle of the lane and because of that, she see’s a lot of production in-between-the blocks. As long as they continue to focus on the little things as a group, they should continue to see success as we move out of the Regular season this next week.

Cadance Shiflett Cadance Shiflett 6'0" | PF/C Diagonal | 2028 IA has led her Diagonal High School program to an undefeated 8-0 record so far this Winter from the Forward position. Shiflett is her team’s main producer in both sides of the ball and you can bet that she understands what she does best. You’ll never see Shiflett shooting a deep shot. She is a by the basket-type prospects. She holds down the area in the middle of the floor and she stays anchored there for the most part unless she needs to step out to defend. It’s always nice to see a humble player doing their thing while posting note-worthy numbers for their crew and that’s what we have here in this situation with Shiflett. 

Cadance Shiflett Cadance Shiflett 6'0" | PF/C Diagonal | 2028 IA may only be a freshman but she holds herself to a high standard and that makes her seem like an upperclassman out on the floor. Shiflett is a Forward that understands the game at a steady pass and she is always trying to better herself. In Diagonal’s contest on Monday, Shiflett led her team in scoring from the field while also helping in the categories of rebounding and defending the lane. Throughout the season, Shiflett is leading her team in PPG and RPG with almost a double-double. I’m sure that is going to continue to be a constant moving into her Sophomore season.
