Cadence is a strong, physical, but athletic combo guard who does a little of everything well. She is best attacking the basket and getting downhill, but she is also a very good perimeter shooter with nice touch. As she has gotten older, her handle and decision-making on the ball has improved, and she is more than capable of running offense and finding open teammates. I also like her effort and toughness at the defensive end of the floor, plus she’s a willing and capable rebounder.

Cadence is primed for a big year at Decatur Central. Though they are young, she has as talented of a supporting cast as she has seen in her four years for the Hawks, which should alleviate a lot of pressure. She is an athletically strong guard, she is good attacking the basket, absorbing contact, and finishing inside, but she also does a nice job of burying shots from outside. Additionally, she has a solid handle, creativity, and good vision. Defensively, she works hard and plays with strength and discipline.

I really like Cadence’s game, and I feel like she is someone very overlooked. She is a strong, athletic combo guard who can contribute in a variety of ways each time out. She has a solid handle and can run offense from time to time, but she’s also a multilevel scorer who can knock down an open jumper or attack the basket and finish through contact. She just has an instinct for scoring the basketball. Defensively, she shows a similar versatility, being able to defend bigger point guards, all 2s, and smaller wings.
