was one of the main reasons her Solon High School team was so successful last season and she is hoping to build on that coming up here in a few weeks. Miller would be defined generally as a Guard. I would say more of a Shooting Guard but in the end, she can move wherever her team needs her and she will produce at a steady rate. I think that overall in this 2024 Class, Miller is underrated. There is a lot of things she does on the floor that stand out to myself as a recruiter/evaluator. Things that would translate to the collegiate level in more ways than one. As for Guards in this Class to beware of moving forward, Miller is one of them. You’ll hear it from me now and you’ll most likely be hearing it again during the State Playoffs in 2024 but we will have to wait and see.

. Levin, the U of Iowa women basketball commit, is the real deal and the headlining name for this group, but following close behind her is

. Miller all season was this groups “X” factor. Not down playing the production of Levin but someone needs to be there to help her out in tough situations or games that she is not preforming the best, that someone was Miller. Miller played every game with her emotions on her sleeve and balled out. She is a solid talent that does a lot of good on the floor. She can score at all three levels, pass well, and rebound. On defense she is good at commmunicating through the opposing offenses action while always knowing where the ball is. This Spartan group is going to have another good chance to make it back to the state tournament for Miller’s senior season, a goal i’m sure she has had on her mind for awhile now.

may not have started for her Solon Spartans team this season but she would definitely be my vote for 6th man of the year in the state of Iowa. Miller, a quick shooting guard, did a little bit of everything for the Spartans this year, most importantly she brought a needed energy off the bench that really shined when she saw the floor. At the end of games Miller would stay on the floor in big moments, showing everything that her coaches trust her in the most important spots throughout the contest. Overall, I’d say Miller had one of the more successful seasons for the Junior class with her best basketball being played down the stretch and into the state tournament. Looking into next year this group is going to have another great shot of making it to state and will most likely be the #1 or #2 ranked 3A team in the state going into the season, an honor the Spartans won’t be taking lightly. Hopefully Miller can move to that starting role and keep up the same production, a goal she will have on her mind going into the fall and something that is more than do-able.

Miller makes sure opponents don’t spend too much time focused on Levin. She’s solid at getting all the way to the basket if defenders push out on her at the arc, where she will bury the trey if left open. She handles the ball well, passes proficiently and holds up well on defense.

Miller impresses with her willingness to challenge taller players with aggressive takes to the basket. It produces points and free throws. She’s a good athlete with quickness, allowing her to beat most defenders off the dribble. She can stoke it from the outside when defenses sag. She plays good on-ball defense.

comes into this season in a great position to be successful for herself individually and her team in the long run. Miller, being the second offensive option on their team, makes it work in her favor. The quick guard is a solid overall player with a shifty game. She can get to the hoop and finish or work anywhere inside the three point arc to see where she would like to go. As her competition usually hones in on Solon’s shooting guard

, she receives a decent amount of open looks because teams over-help. As time goes on and her game progresses, the hard working guard will look to expand her game past three point line to become a consistent scoring threat from all three levels. If she can make a majority of her open looks and stay aggressive, she will continue to be successful, making a big impact for her Spartans team.
