Sumter will turn out to be one of the winners of transfer season as Glenn – who previously played at now 3A Lakewood – will also be sporting Gamecocks blue and gold this upcoming season. Glenn was one of the leading scorers for the Gators last season and also excels as a rebounder. She was one of six from the class of 2028 on last season’s Lakewood team. Sumter is in a state of transition as longtime former coach Jeff Schaffer stepped down from his post with the Gamecocks. Brittany Lee – who is part of the Sumter Athletics Hall of Fame will be in her first season at the helm at Sumter. 

When one has worn the Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite uniform as Glenn has done throughout her AAU career, one can expect that individual to be among the top prospects in South Carolina. Glenn followed up what was a solid freshman season with 4A Lakewood with an improved campaign for the Gators. She would compete in 14 games this past season for Lakewood and averaged 9.4 points per contest. Glenn not only was one of six sophomores for this past season’s Gators assembling but she was also one of three team co-captains. She was one of the taller participants of last season’s Lakewood team as a frontcourt stalwart.
