In the FHSAA final four, Wallace showcased her basketball skillset – ball handling, timely shooting, and showing the competitive fire that burned throughout the games on the court. Wallace’s double-double semifinal game comes to mind, where she pulled out all the tools- shooting the three (2 three pointers), leading the fast break, and grabbing 10 rebounds off the glass (5 offensive rebounds). Wallace was the catalyst for Bayside, along with her twin sister Ellieyana. Carleyssia had a major workload that showed mainly during the semifinals – ball handling, shot creator, and facilitator for her team.
