K J Sarpe left it all on the floor, including pieces of her two front teeth The senior point guard spent close to 25 minutes on the court, and the other 7 minutes were spent “looking for her teeth and tending to a cut lip”. In addition to the toughness, Sharpe was also instrumental on the floor- 11 points and 6 assists against Bartram’s cardiac kids. Sharpe handled the rock, broke the press, and got her team into their offensive sets. The senior guard has been on the big stage before, and her poise under pressure showed it.

Kamorah functioned as the ultimate floor general and put her body (mouth) on the line diving for a loose ball. While her scoring was solid with 11 points, her true impact was felt in her playmaking and ball security. She finished with a game-high 6 assists, effectively dissecting the Bartram Trail defense. The Bears were fantastic when she was directing the offense effectively.

KJ Sharpe knows a thing or two about controlling the pace of the game. The young guard is having a statistical breakout season averaging nearly 15 points per game (per Max Prep). Sharpe has always been a savvy player who plays with poise and purpose. She does an excellent job running the offense, controlling tempo, and putting teammates in positions to succeed. A confident decision-maker, Sharpe consistently creates quality scoring opportunities and understands how to manage the pace of the game. She can knock down the three when defenses sag and knows when to attack versus or facilitate. Last season she played an important role on a State Championship team, showing an ability to adapt her game to the needs of the team – she balanced the floor, stabilized the two position, and was solid on the defensive end. This season she is a Senior whose time has come. Sharpe is contributing and controlling the pace on both ends of the floor – the role of a playmaking guard.

is the definition of a floor general — controlling the pace of the game and always showing up in big moments, never backing down from a challenge. She plays with the heart of a lion on every possession and is a natural-born leader on both ends of the floor, setting the tone for her team.
Sharpe isn’t just a facilitator — she can score the ball as well. She uses angles and timing to finish around the rim and has a smooth stroke from behind the arc. Ranked #32 among point guards in her class, she’s finishing her senior season at Bayside, bringing championship experience as she looks to help her team fight for the 6A title and push past last season’s regional semifinal loss.

is a savvy floor general with poise and composure. Sharpe brings ton of experience and has played in the biggest of games. She has the ability to run a team, setting the tempo and controlling the pace of the game with her decision-making. Offensively, she does a great job creating quality looks for her teammates, and she is more than capable of putting the ball in the rim. Sharpe can step out and knock down the three and get to the rim, but she’s just as effective pushing the ball in transition and keeping pressure on the defense. With her leadership, she will raise the efficiency of everyone around her.

was very impressive on Day 1 of the Invitational. Sharpe is a prime example of impacting a game without scoring a lot of points. Sharpe has very good speed on the floor and can play on both sides of the court. On defense, she can defend the short and fast guards. On offense, she can blow by defenders and make plays for her team. She did a great job of pushing the ball and running with her elite teammate,

. The Junior guard played well in transition, on defense, and handled the ball well on offense. There was never a dull moment on the floor and Sharpe was in the middle of it all game long.
