Lewis sold me on that initial sighting, and one of the pictures I took of her was pointing at a fire extinguisher because I saw the heat she brought on both ends, and when you have SWB, speed with the ball, and can stay under control, while being pressured, that is special see evaluations here yet seeing her control the tempo last night and make the right decisions is part of the reason they advanced. She also played solid defense, dropped the jumper, and exploded off the dribble to score
Lewis uses her light feet and breezes past multiple defenders for easy buckets! Covers a lot of ground in little time because of her speed. Don’t let her get hot from behind the arc! Back to back 3’s from the same spot!
Lewis is a “long and athletic” guard whose first step keeps getting better as she gets by the defender to score off the dribble in the set easily. She’s heady, even knew she was going to be hit and threw the shot up to go to the line but her midrange was clicking as well. She also did good job defensively, even picked some pockets
Lewis is another long and athletic guard but her first step creates problems for defenders as she can show explosiveness while staying under control off the dribble. She dropped it from outside, catch and shoot included. She did a good job defensively and she played the passing lane
Lewis left me speechless over the club season yet I wasn’t alone as several officials asked me if I hadn’t seen her and others during the game “Did you see what she did” yet nothing has changed as she pointed towards the fire extinguisher because she was on fire. Her slight HEZ kept defenders off balance and her blowing by them in one motion to finish acrobatically was nice. She also dropped the jumper and played the passing lane
Lewis is a “long and athletic” guard who had the refs asking me “Did you see that Sim” and I just SMH because I’m not a novice and it didn’t take me long to realize she has plenty of upside. Her first step is nice, well very nice and so is her body control yet her finishing after contact was only part of it. She reads the floor on both ends, makes good decisions, and her elevating on her jumper had me smiling
