Ademuwagun had everyone talking at the PGH Expo, yet hearing what I initially said years ago is nothing new; see evaluations here, so the talking continued as whoever had the mic was ready to drop it after watching her dazzling ballhandling and acrobatic finishes. She blew by defenders at Will and showed no Grace dropping the jumper, yet pound for pound, and inch for inch, there is no better player in Texas, and one more thing she has you can’t teach: heart

Ademuwagun takes me back to watching her watch her older sister tear the city apart, so she’s showing the same mindset and has been for a while. Yeah, she’s in that #sizedontmatter group, but her explosiveness is among the best in the state. She finished off the dribble, as well as dropped the stop-and-pop from mid to long range, but she’s more shifty with the ball in transition, and seeing her thread the needle from 20 feet for assists was nice. Her baseline-to-baseline pressure, as well as playing the passing lane, also needs to be mentioned

Ademuwagun proves over and over that #sizedontmatter when you can play and help lead her Village School team to a state championship was big. She never takes a play off and is one of the most explosive guards in Texas, but seeing her continue to add to her game has been a pleasure for me see evaluations here

Ademuwagun is, how can I say this, faster than a speeding bullet with the ball while staying under control, yet her being #sizedontmatter while finishing acrobatically off the dribble after contact had me going when I caught her in middle school. Yeah, she can drop the mid- to long-range, but peep this: she can also change the momentum of a game from either end of the court by coming with defensive stops or steals, including playing the passing lane, yet her court vision and threading the needle were all in full effect. See evaluations here

Ademuwagun is one of the most explosive guards in her class, and one more time, #sizedontmatter when you can play and watching her watch older sister Tobi star for years was a plus for her as her work ethic is unmatched. She picked pockets, played the passing lane for steals, scored off the dribble, after contact included, and dropped it from outside, oh yeah, she saw the floor too see evaluations here

Ademuawagun is a perfectionist and was visibly upset about her missing a jumper yet she drained many and gave me some acrobatic finishes after contact. She’s one of the fastest players in the state “with the ball” and her ability to stay under control to score or dish in transition creates problems yet her soaking wet jersey showed how her “on the ball” pressure can be smothering as she falls into that “never takes a play off” group

#13 (Up from #18)

Ademuwagun is always ready for whatever, and I remember the first time I caught her live, I knew she was on to something. Making All-This and All-That Teams in her freshman season, as well as impressing WNBA stars at showcases, doesn’t surprise me one bit because I knew what was coming, see evaluations here

#18 Up from #33

Ademuawagun is the highest riser and watching her take over games offensively had me smiling. She’s one of the most explosive guards in Texas, all classes included and her body control after contact keeps improving. Her jumper, stop and pop included, has been giving defenders problems, and speaking of defense, her “on the ball” pressure has been more than solid see evaluation here

Ademuwagun is one of the most explosive guards in Texas, right now, all classes included and as a REAL EVALUATOR, I know certain things. I also LOVE certain things you can’t teach, like DESIRE and MINDSET and hers is “you can’t stop me” so seeing her blazing past the defender in the set as well as in trasition to score layups, at times acrobatically, is a treat yet her jumper, stop and pop included are becoming lethal. Her “on the ball” defense needs to be mentioned, along with her court vision

#33-Ademuwagun had an advantage off the top as she watched her older sister, Tobi, become one of the top players in her class. She plays a different position but left a lasting first impression and each time I’ve caught her, she’s added a little something extra see evaluations here
