Caroline Osting Caroline Osting 5'8" | SF Sacred Heart | 2025 State KY is way under the radar in my opinion.  The KY guard just does everything well.  Her 9 point game in their first wing was complimented by a made 3, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Her motor is excellent, and her court vision is elite.

In their Saturday loss she had 14 points, 3 made threes, 3 rebounds, 1 block and 3 assists.  Again, she’s just a complete player.

The more that I watch Caroline, the more there is to love about her overall game. She was good in iso moments when she needed to attack the rim to score or dish. She is completely unselfish and she finds every way to impact a basketball game when she isn’t scoring. I love the fact that she is a willing passer and she looks for her teammates! Osting is a smart athlete that doesn’t take forced shots. A high energy kid that will defend! This one is going to continue to get better in all aspects!

The KY product came down to TN and lit it up for ETA ’25 Sizemore.  She averaged 13 points a game, with a 19 point 6 rebound game that was off the charts good.  She’s a 5’10 SG with the size to be an impactful rebounder and defender, and already has a proven track record as a scorer for a state championship KY team.  She’s continues to prove she’s the real deal.

Ok!  I see you Caroline Osting!  She’s another Kentucky kid I’d only heard about, but she’s the real deal.  I knew she was a high caliber glue kid for a state championship Sacred Heart team in KY.  She has all the attributes of a winner.  Both games I watched she made an impact on the offensive end without having to force anything.  Really high IQ, and let’s the game come to her.  Seemed to always be in the right place at the right time (funny how high level winning role players are always in the “right place at the right time”), and brought value on the glass, and on the defensive end.  I liked out quickly she moved the ball when the simple pass was there (I know that doesn’t sound like much…but kids and parents….just move the ball to the open man as quickly as you can….the ball has magic and when everyone is selfless with it—the ball finds who it’s supposed to).

Caroline brings a lot of positive attributes to a team but her attitude, energy, and effort may bernher best! She is an absolute team first, “what do you need me to do coach” player. She bringsrngreat length to our team which helps on the offensive and defensive side. Shes got a nicernmidrange and 3 pt shot. Also, I have no doubt if theres a 50/50 ball, its hers!

Osting is another Sacred Heart Valkyrie who is waiting her turn for to be an impact player. Moving up 15 spots from 77th to 62nd in this update, Caroline really impressed our Alyx White this summer and earned her boost up the list. Osting is a player who would be averaging double figures at any other school in the city.
