A determined individual who can score the basketball at all three levels. Has a sweet stroke from afar that can scorch the net. She’s a threat from anywhere on the floor, and given any light, the ball is going to go up. Her game has grown over the past few years. Has always been a lethal shooter and will put the ball on the floor to go get a bucket as well. Her defense has turned up a notch, and she contributes in other statistical categories as well. Coaches are taking an interest in her game. She’s gotten a few under her belt right now, but expect more to come. She’s a talented athlete who will be a solid addition to a program at the next level.

Carter has had an incredible week making up rescheduled games after the snow. She led a fourth-quarter comeback from down 12 to beat first-place Morristown East, scoring 14 of her 21 points in the final period. She followed that with another conference win, putting up 22 points, including 20 in the second half, while setting a school record with 18 rebounds. Last night, she guided her team to a victory over Science Hill, the largest school in Tennessee, securing at least a share of the conference title. In that game, she also surpassed 1,500 career points and 500 rebounds, becoming West Ridge School’s all-time leading scorer, coming off a 36-point conference performance just last week.

The first time I watched Carter play, I was left extremely impressed. I have no doubts that she will turn college coaches’ heads at the Elite 80! Carter has an extremely high basketball IQ! She’s one of the best two way athletes and she can make any team better. She’s a strong 3-level scorer, but she is extremely unselfish. She is the guard that will feed the hot hand and make the players around her better! The ’27 class in TN is loaded, and Carter remains near the top of my list!

The first time that I watched Jones play, I knew she was forreal! How many records will she break? Honest question. She broke two this season as a sophomore. She now holds the record for most points scored in a single game. She poured in 38 points that game! She also holds the school record for most 3’s made in a single game. She poured in 8 long balls! Remember when I stated that, “she has a beautiful outside shot that she knocks down consistently.” This is more than FACTS! Jones is an outstanding athlete that has the size, the skillset, and the ability to excel at the next level!

She has been blessed with size and the ability to score the basketball. Big guard who can work inside the painted area or snipe you out from the arc. She has taken her area by storm and you can tell she has been in the lab working on her craft. Her game speaks volumes as she excels nightly against opponents who come out to slow her down. This kid is still growing. Her confidence is there. She is playing comfortably. She is competing on both ends of the floor. Look for her to continue on this trajectory. She has all the intangibles to attract the eyes of collegiate coaches.

Can light it up from near and far. Had a sensational tournament season over the break in North Carolina, came back to TN after a few days off and picked right back up. This kid is solid. Can score on all 3 levels. What I love about her most is her mindset and what she brings to the table. She’s a gamer and her teammates follow suit. Tough kid who will be a force down the stretch.

Jones is the diamond! She’s truly a special athlete that makes winning plays! She has great size for the guard position. She has great body control. A solid ball handler that makes the right play. Carter is the athlete that makes the tough plays look easy. She has a beautiful outside shot that she knocks down consistently. One thing that I am confident in saying about Carter is, college coaches will be all over this one!
