Williams light keeps getting brighter as she continues to elevate her game see evaluations here, but her upside is what continues to impress me because she’s heady and plays under control, yet her “poise under pressure” and wanting to take the clutch shot as well as deliver are things you can’t teach

Long + athletic—covers ground and makes plays all over
Defensive disruptor—on-ball pressure, jumping passing lanes, forcing turnovers
High feel for the game—reading plays early and reacting fast
Physical finisher—absorbs contact and still converts
Confident pull-up game—can get to her spots and knock it down
She’s the type of player that changes momentum instantly—whether it’s a steal, a stop, or a bucket 👀

Williams is a “long and athletic” guard who is showing she can change the momentum of a game from either end of the court. Her “on the ball” pressure in the set, as well as baseline to baseline has gotten better, so has her “reading the floor” and playing the passing lane. She attacks the basket from multiple spots, nice body control on her finishes after contact and her pull-up jumper is solid

Williams’ game is ahead of her years, and what impressed me off the top on my initial sighting was her ability to score multiple ways as well as her BB-IQ on both ends of the court see evaluations here. Her smoothness with the ball under pressure is special, and speaking of pressure, she wants the ball in clutch situations and delivers so that, as well as her reading the floor on both ends, speaks to the trouble coming

Williams is one of the top 2030 players I have seen “with my own eyes” and what she brings to the table is a variety of things you can’t teach. She plays up on a team that plays up, and one thing I look for from players who have been in the same group is how they REACT and do things INSTINCTIVELY. She’s already elevating on her jumper, release is quick and fluid, yet she also attacks and scores off the dribble. Her “on the ball” pressure and quick hands to pick pockets looks good, and she plays the passing lane see evaluations here

Williams would have been on my versatile scorers list if she hadn’t shown me how complete her game is becoming. I mentioned positioning in the above paragraph; she gets it already, and playing up doing what she’s doing now is scary. She rebounded, handled the ball afterward in the open court, but her ability to score on putbacks was special as she uses her athleticism well on both ends. She also scored off the dribble, dropped the jumper, and saw the floor, plus her defense was solid

Williams athletics and endurance were on full display all weekend! While she may not be the team’s leading scorer, she is a player that makes it hard for the coach to keep her off the court for long because of her superb read and react abilities. After she soars up for rebounds, she makes smart pivots away from the defense (all while keeping the ball high) and immediately has her head up looking to make a play in transition. With perfect anticipation, Williams intercepted passes to make precise one handed passes to open teammates 25+ feet away. She caused several turnovers by going to trap and simply ripping the ball out of the opposition’s hands. She plays extremely hard the entire time she touches the floor.

Williams has a basketball name and I’m almost ready to drop that coveted #D1Lock on her early and here’s why. She’s poised under pressure, she does things instinctively and I love how she reacts in certain situations so that’s my blueprint and I give it because you still need to be able to comprehend what you’re looking at. Her court vision across the board is solid, she scores off the dribble after contact, and her jumper is smooth and fluid, but she also has UPS to rebound and score around the basket, turnaround jumper included. Oh yeah, she’s a “long and athletic” guard which is the base
