Casey exhibited steady play from the very start of the game. She was flying around looking for ways to leave her mark. Stores was making the connective passes within the offense and made it a point to get the ball out of her hands fast. She was even able to showcase her long-range shooting ability; Casey knocked down a corner 3-pointer that lifted the team’s spirits in a tight game. The power to knock shots down in games like this can’t be overlooked. The athletic guard posed a real problem on the defensive end. Casey was tasked with disrupting Hoosac’s top offensive options. She was regularly running players off the line, making it hard for them to get clean looks. Stores’ balanced gameplay was dependable.
