About Cece
Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Cece was outright dominant during Muskegon’s win against Eisenhower in the semifinals. She turned in a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and dished out four assists. Cece’s explosive quickness resulted in a full-speed drive-by euro layup and a split drive side-step layup. She earned many trips to the free-throw line with her fast drives and determined rebounding effort. Cece created open looks for teammates with her dribble penetration and made a sweet no-look shovel pass. In the Championship Game, Cece buried a tough, step-back contested jumper and dropped into the passing lanes to pick off passes. She posted six points and added three steals for the Lady Reds in the victory.

Cece, an Oakland commit, is a poised floor general with elite feel for the game and a handle that keeps defenders off balance. Her ability to read the floor, deliver precise passes, and control tempo makes her the kind of point guard who elevates everyone around her. Though injuries limited her impact last season, a healthy Cece instantly becomes one of the most intriguing guards in the conference—capable of steering her team toward a championship push and setting the stage for a strong postseason run.

Cece, the floor general for Muskegon, put on a show with her exceptional handle and command of the game. She controlled the tempo with ease, using her tight dribble and sharp court awareness to set up teammates in perfect scoring positions. Her passing ability stood out—threading pinpoint assists through traffic and creating opportunities that few players could see. Cece also proved she could score it herself, confidently hitting shots from deep and keeping defenses honest. On the other end, her quick hands and anticipation led to multiple steals, turning defense into instant offense. She’s the kind of point guard who makes everyone around her better.

Cece showed explosiveness, speed, and all the qualities that make her an exciting prospect during games with MBA-UAA on the travel circuit. She’s one of the toughest on-ball defenders and finishers at the rim in this class. Cece creates space with her crossovers and attacks gaps with a dribble burst. Muskegon is a top ten team in Division 1 heading into the regular season, and Cece will be a huge factor in their success this winter. I’m excited to see Cece staying in Michigan to continue her college career at Oakland University after graduation.

Cece has the ball on a string and is so much fun to watch. Her recruitment has blown up this summer and she showed why with her elite play at the MBA fall league this past week. Every time she drove the baseline, I knew her team was going to get a good-looking shot off with the way she could create. Bonner is playing at an extremely high level right now and I’m expecting a huge junior season for her.

Bonner needs to watched with her MBA squad. She has been flat out nasty for a few months now. Bonner can always attack off the crossover and can right to left as well as left to right. Attacking both sides of the rim is a big time skill. Bonner has shown touch around the basket and a smooth scoop and score.

Bonner is a shifty guard with great athleticism. She has one of the best hesitation dribbles I have seen, which can freeze her defender in their tracks. Bonner had an impressive spring, and we can expect an even bigger July from her. She left the Ferris camp with a scholarship offer.

Bonner has been lighting up the grassroots scene all spring and has turned many heads in the process. She’s getting D1 interest and offers and more than deserves it. Bonner has been electric with the ball. She freezes defenders and then explodes past them. Bonner’s elusiveness of the bounce helps her create for herself and her teammates.
