She gets her hands in the way on defense picking the pocket of her opponents. Her ability to find her open teammates inside the paint was so fun to watch. has earned back-to-back MVP awards in the state championship games, and she’s sure to continue performing at a high level for her senior season. She’s a special point guard controlling the tempo of the game, finding ways to make the sharp pass, and knocking down her shot. She doesn’t just focus on offense as her defense stands out with her ability to be aggressive knocking the ball away and jumping in front of passing lanes to grab the steal.

is a back to back state championship coming home with team hardware and individual hardware both years. While she can score from anywhere on the court, she’s aggressive on defense being able to pick the pocket of her opponents to push the other direction. She does well anticipating what her opponents are going to do jumping in front of passes and creating some plays off of turnovers.

was doing well moving with and without the ball finding her teammates, hitting them in stride on the way to some points, and she even did a nice job cleaning up the glass putting the shot back up. She didn’t back down from hands in her face banking it off the glass. Her ability to draw opponents towards her to wrap the pass around them hitting her teammates’ hands was impressive. She’s quick with the ball which is what makes her hesitation move so effective throwing off her opponents. She had a nice pass from the top of the key whipping it to the opposite block for two points for her teammate. She even showed off her range knocking it down from deep. Her on ball defense frequently led to turnovers as well.

Gosh, if you love watching hoopers, you’ll love watching this kid go. She’s not just a hooper, she’s a competitor. She does everything through the lens of “We over Me”, and puts the team first. And in the championship game for Trotters ’26 Williams she was fantastic. She had huge bucket after huge bucket on the way to 15 points, while also doing a great job of facilitating for others. This group has won the TN AAU Championship 3 straight years. They are no joke!

So darn smart. Just a winning player. Made the right pass every time. You want her on your team because she’s your coach on the floor. Knows the correct reads vs a press.
Went coast to coast to the rack when nobody picked her up. Got cooking in the 1st half, and they ran away with it. I’m not sure she was the most talented player on the floor, but made the biggest difference. They continued to press her…and it made them pay.
The kid is just special.

Cecily Swimmer came right out to play scoring the first bucket of the game on a fast break. She was grabbing steals on the other end picking the pocket of her opponents and immediately pushing them up the court for some points. She sees the floor so well finding her open teammates cutting to the basket. She was constantly moving all over the court making sure she’s a problem on defense and can easily get to the ball on offense.
