The freshman has already proven she isn’t fazed by competition, and the playoff stage shouldn’t change that. Despite Naples boasting a strong senior class, Chantel’s confidence and versatility should stand out in this matchup. She can shoot it at a high level and impact the game in multiple ways, whether scoring, facilitating, or making hustle plays. Don’t expect the moment to be too big — expect her presence to be felt early as Port Charlotte looks to advance.

She also has the vision of a floor general, consistently finding teammates on rolls and cuts. Wilson is a player we will continue to keep on our radar to see how far she develops, and she has the potential to be a consistent stock riser over the next few years.

Chantel was one of the standout playmakers of the day and showed some of the best passing I saw throughout the event. She has a good motor and consistently moved to impact the game on both ends. She displayed excellent court vision with a particularly nice assist while pushing the ball in transition. Chantel also showed confidence as a shooter and showed the ability to hit deep shots with the trust of her teammates and coaches to take those shots late in a tight game. Her combination of energy, passing ability, and scoring confidence makes her a real threat in this Freshman class.

Chantel did a nice job of helping run the point for her team. Her handles and pace set the tone for her squad and she was a real leader in that sense. She was fantastic at feeding the post and getting the right angles to make proper post entry passes. Chantel showed the ability to score it from long range as well.
