Terrell and her first step have been blowing by defenders since I first saw her years ago yet her jumper kept getting better from mid to long-range and it’s creating problems for defenders. She also is playing the passing lane as well as anyone in the area I have seen this season plus her defense in the set, as well as baseline to baseline was clicking

Terrell has always been a player I enjoyed catching and her grabbing my attention years ago by “never taking a play off” spoke volumes about what was coming. She had some huge games during the viewing period and sent a message at the Super 16 see evaluation here

Terrell plays taller than her listed height but after all, she’s a “long and athletic” guard who can blow by defenders in both the open court and the set. Her acrobatic finishes after contact have always been an attraction yet watching her apply baseline-to-baseline pressure and using quick hands to get steals is nice. Still, she also gets them by playing the passing lane. Her midrange pull-up is solid, so is her court vision

Terrell is another explosive guard that is, well hard to guard because she’s “long and athletic” which is the base period no matter what position you play and her body control coupled with her acrobatic finishes places her in the “highlight waiting to happen” category. The interesting thing is that she stays with it after the lick yet she also can drop the jumper, nice elevation and release, plays “on the ball” defense and also plays the passing lane

Terrel continues to turn into a TERROR on both ends and watching her read the defense and play the passing lane, then take it all the way to finish or dish is part of. Yeah she does a good job of seeing the floor in the open court, yet her crisp passes past defenders in the set are also nice. I also like her “pull-up” jumper and watching her elevate and drop while being defended is always a treat. She has a nice crossover to get to the basket in the set and her defensive pressure is also solid
