Charley Rae proved to be a reliable scoring option and facilitator as she connected with the three ball and showed comfort operating the offense. She plays with poise, takes what the defense gives her, and can score at all three levels. She also was good at turning defense into offense with pesky on-ball defenders which forced turnovers that led to transition points. Her blend of ball-handling, shooting, and decision-making gives her versatility in the backcourt.

People, for some reason, are overlooking this move, but this player gives CPA another valuable scoring option. She’s going to fit right in with the CPA system can play her game. She will be used to push the ball in transition, knock down 3s, used in the pick and roll game that will enable her to come off shooting her mid-range jumper. I expect her defensive stats to be high based on how they play defense off Old Hickory Blvd. The way they pressure kids will enable CR to be in gaps, ready to pounce on steal opportunities.
