of Woodbine High School committed to Sioux Falls to continue on her athletic career on the Softball diamond. Pryor is someone that we have recently mentioned for her production on the Varsity floor over the past three seasons. With Pryor now being college committed in something else, I really hope she still competes on the hardwood over this next six months. She is going to be the heart and soul of that team if she returns so it’s really important to their future in the short time. (This year.) Either way, Pryor has always been a top notch competitor. She works relentlessly in anything she is attempting to accomplish so I’m happy that she will be showing off her athletic talents in some form moving on.
The stat-line that Chalice Pryor of Woodbine High School posted last Winter is nothing short of noteworthy. With her Woodbine Tigers program, Pryor averaged over 17.5 PPG on 42.5% shooting, including over 35% from behind the three point line, while also dishing out 5.5 APG. To give you any idea, this team went 16-8 on the season and averaged 58.5 PPG. Those two numbers corresponding together means that Pryor basically scored or assisted on half of their scoring throughout their entire season. There is no reason that this Winter shouldn’t be similar to years past for Pryor. I’m expecting similar, if better numbers out of her at this point. She is a shifty guard that can get to whichever offensive level she wants to in the blink of an eye and her defending ability is solid, so all of that should lead to more success over this next season in my book.

has been on the radar in the class for a few season now but this year I think she did a really good job showing that she is an all around play maker when she takes the floor. Pryor, a shifty point guard with a nice handle, is a gamer. She can play with the best of them and shows it on a nightly basis. She puts up consistent numbers for her team and her team did well this previous season. Some of those numbers that jump off the page are her ability to rebound and shoot the three ball. You can tell how active she is by her rebounding numbers alone. She brought in 115 rebounds in 26 games at the size of 5’5, showing everyone that it doesn’t matter how tall she is, she will simply work harder than her opponent. Going forward keep an eye on Pryor. She was one of the most complete guards in her entire class last season and if that continues to grow, she is going to be a problem looking into the future and a nice get at the college level for a successful program out there who needs a diverse guard.
