Cavin can taked over games offensively in the blink of an eye and observing her showing signs of doing just that early to becoming ” that girl” has been a treat. She’s heady and patiently sets the defender up to score but her court vision as well as rebounding ad defense also needs to be mentioned see evaluations ere

“Cavin has a great touch on the basketball and a better than average feel for the game as a 6’0 SG. She can light it up from deep off the catch or dribble and she is also able to put the rock on the floor when the defense is jumping at all of her shot fakes. Cavin has slipped through the defense a few times already today within the first quarter, ultimately finishing at the bucket with some English as she is being contested.”

Cavin has shown me over the course of her career that she won’t “cave in” under pressure, as I “play on words” watching her dismantle defenders is a work of art see evaluations here and as good as I knew she was, watching her take games over by herself at the Sandra Meadows Classic JUST DID IT for me because she can put the ball in the basket from outside, off the dribble as well as inside the paint, putbacks included yet she also “sees the floor” and makes the right decisions

Cavin is not only one of the smoothest players in Texas, yet watching her simply take control of games is special see evaluations here I wrote “however she wants to” and that means she scored off the dribble, from outside with midrange or inside the paint, putbacks included yet she also saw the floor in transition as well as in the set to get her teammates good looks but make no mistake about it, she set the defender up to perfection and when you factor in she rebounded and played solid defense …

#27 up from #35, Cavin is one of those players who just keep elevating their game. She’s poised at whatever position she plays, the 1, 2, or 3, and her versatility to get the job done on either end of the court looks really good see evaluations here

#35 up from #47 Cavin moved up after seeing her at the Sandra Meadows Classic and has made yet another jump after her TABC Showcase performance. She’s long and athletic, which is the base, stands at “the magic number” and shows she could score consistently both inside and outside ,see evaluations here

Cavin continues to show versatility, and when you factor in that she stands at “the magic number” well, the magic starts when she has the ball in her hand. She can spot up and drop the jumper, score around the basket, putbacks included, yes, she rebounds on both ends. She also scores off the dribble, her acrobatic finish after contact had me smiling. She also did a good job defending “on the ball”

Cavin gave me all that and then some as she showed she could play multiple positions effectively and efficiently but let me start with she stands at “the magic number” which is 6’0 and she’s “long and athletic” so that combo will automatically attract next level attention yet her intangibles will have her on several D1 shortlists. Pull-up jumper, off the dribble, even putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends all were on display yet her court vision and defense also stood out

Cavin enters the Top 100 yet I’m sure she will be moving up after I see her in person and she is one of many players I had lost track of. The bottom line is she’s a big guard who can shoot it from mid to long-range yet she also does a good job scoring off the dribble and finishing after contact
