was a clutch performer for Mumford Wednesday at the Michigan Hardwood Classic. Cherish forced turnovers by applying pressure on the ball with her quick lateral slides and anticipation. She pushed the tempo in transition and delivered bounce passes on the money through tight windows. Cherish hit a corner 3, dribbled circles around multiple defenders before hitting a floater in the paint, and hit 6 straight free throws down the stretch to help seal a victory for Mumford.

Jefferson definitely caught my eye at HYPE on Sunday. She showed the ability to control and push the pace of the game with her straight line speed with the ball in her hands. Jefferson played some very feisty perimeter defense and was able to frustrate opposing ball handlers. Offensively, she was able to get down hill with the ball and she showed off a very effective shot fake in which drove baseline and finished with a floater.

Jefferson has a lot going for her as a basketball player. She has a fast first step that allows her to put defenders on her hip and attack from there.

Jefferson is a very talented point guard that can play with some explosiveness. She’s a quick twitch guard that can get going and build speed at the snap of a finger. This is very evident with her first step when taking the ball to the rim. Jefferson has great defensive vision and always seems to be around the ball making plays.
