How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Chey is a versatile shooting guard known for her good floor vision and aggressive defense. She has strong handles and scores in multiple ways, whether it's driving to the basket, shooting mid-range, or shooting from deep. Her sophomore year, Chey led the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears in three-pointers and free throw percentage.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
It takes work! Chey is training in-season and out. Coaches have praised Chey, saying she is willing to do the things no one else wants to do.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Chey volunteers for Special Olympics and SteppingStones (a recreation center for people with disabilities).
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Chey is a quiet leader, leading by example. She is always hyping up her teammates from the floor or the bench.
What type of college are you looking for?
Cheyanne is looking for a smaller school. Although she loves to be home- she is willing to explore new places!
