When Hanel is on the floor, she is a difference maker. Someone that others teams need to game plan for each contest or else she is going to have a game to remember. I’m not sure of the exact offers that Hanel currently holds but she is a college level player. She has the smarts, the aggressive edge, and skill to put it all together at a high rate. Now she just needs to keep working and that’ll all shine through this winter at Clarkson/Leigh High School.

Chloe Hanel Chloe Hanel 5'11" | CG Clarkson/Lehigh | 2024 State NE is a long and athletic combo guard who understands where to be and when to be there. Hanel is a 5’11 menace on the floor. She has length but is agile in her movements while always knowing what is happening around her. She brings a good amount of pressure on defense and it leads to a lot of success for her squads. During her junior season she averaged 19.4 PPG on 49% shooting, 6.1 RPG, 2.9 APG, and 4 SPG. An impressive stat line to say the least. This winter for Hanel the sky is the limit. I’ll be curious as to where she ends up playing at for college ball but no matter what, if she stays this dedicated and committed to the grind, she will definitely be a success at the next level.

Chloe Hanel Chloe Hanel 5'11" | CG Clarkson/Lehigh | 2024 State NE is an impressive prospect when you look at her overall game play. Hanel is a lengthy combo guard with a lot of promise. She has the ability to handle and get to the hoop or create for others, is an above average rebounder, and possesses a good amount of skill highlighted by a patented Euro-step finish against her opponent. She has a high motor and shows a lot of grit out on the court. Her team high school team really applies the pressure on the defensive end of the floor and that leads to a lot of steals for Hanel, usually ending in a finish for herself. This makes a lot of sense and helped her average the 3rd most PPG, throughout the entire state of Nebraska this past season. In a nutshell Hanel is a heck of a prospect. She has size, speed, and skill along with a good head on her shoulders and an act for making things happen for her teams. All things a college coach is going to love at the next level in a few years.

Filling up stat sheets night in and night out, Hanel continues to put up crazy numbers throughout her career. The 5’11 junior is averaging 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals per game this season. Hanel is smart and athletic, which leads to steals and fast breaks for Clarkson-Leigh. Hanel’s athleticism has made her not only one of the best basketball players in the state, but a dominant force in volleyball and track and field, as well. Already one of the top juniors in the class, as Hanel continues to develop as a consistent threat from three, the sky is the limit for the 2024 forward.
