Cuthbertson is making the jump from 4A to 7A with realignment. This year, Mundy has picked up offers from Claflin and Winston Salem State. Mundy impressed with her ball-handling as well as with her ability to connect on floater attempts. She has also established herself as a defensive stalwart. Mundy returns to Cuthbertson after spending time wearing the uniform of 1 of 1 Prep. Two years ago, she put together one of the signature freshman seasons as a Cavalier and similar numbers from a more experienced Mundy should mean improved fortunes for Cuthbertson as it moves up in classification. She, arguably, turned in the best performance of anyone on hand on Friday.

is a player who does a little bit of everything getting inside for some rebounds, pushing the ball up the court, and playing tight defense blocking the path of her opponents. She isn’t scared to bully her way to the paint, and she reads the floor well knowing when she drew defenders towards her opening up the court for her teammates. She made some nice hustle plays, too, going after loose possessions.

is feisty on defense stripping the ball away from her opponents with ease, and she’s quick handling the ball scoring on fast breaks. She has a nice stroke from deep making it count from all around the perimeter. Her ability to get to the rim is already fun to watch as she can roll it off her fingertips on both sides of the hoop. Her ability to change directions quickly and throw in some hesitation moves to create her own space.

Mundy is fun to watch on the basketball court. She makes positive plays and gives all she has on both offense and defense. She is a fantastic outside shooter and can knock down multiple threes in any game. She can also create space for her jump with fakes and step-back moves. Mundy is also a fantastic defender. She can lockdown any ball handler and create steals from her quick reaction and anticipation skills. Mundy is ready for a special season with her teammates on the court.

is averaging over 14 points per night for Cuthbertson High School. She is only a freshman who gives it all she has on the basketball court. Mundy plays hard on offense, creates positive plays on defense, and she is a strong rebounder from the guard position. Mundy is shooting a fantastic percentage from the floor and can score from inside or out. She can connect on threes in transition, or she can attack the cup and get to the foul line.
