Cici is a guard to know and already one of the best shooters in Florida’s 2030 class. She has earned meaningful varsity minutes and gained valuable experience in high-pressure games at a young age. Surrounded by an experienced and talented Holy Trinity backcourt, she is in an ideal environment to continue developing while learning from proven leaders. Each time I’ve watched her, her finishing, ball handling, and playmaking have taken another step forward to complement her shooting ability. As she continues to get stronger, gains confidence, and becomes more assertive, Cici has all the tools to develop into one of the top guards in the 2030 class.

Cici Hsieh Cici Hsieh 5'6" | PG Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy | 2030 FL was another impressive young guard at the FABC Live Period. She has a fluid three-point shooting stroke and the confidence to shoot the ball whenever she’s open. Equally impressive was the way she handled defensive pressure and the trust her teammates showed by consistently putting the ball in her hands. Hsieh did an excellent job of moving the ball in rhythm and creating quality scoring opportunities for her teammates. When the defense gives her space, she’s more than willing to step into her shot with confidence, making her an offensive threat when she steps on the floor.

Cici Hsieh Cici Hsieh 5'6" | PG Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy | 2030 FL left an impression with her play at the Christmas Invitational. Hisieh displayed quickness and speed and play making abilities. Her ability to get pass the defender allowed her to draw help-side defense and kick to her shooters. For an 8th grader, Hsieh is making plays to help her team. She will be a player to watch the second half of the season as well as the next 4 years.

The thing that impressed me the most with Cici’s film was her passing ability. She’s able to look off a defender with her eyes while making a move for a bucket or even passing in a different direction than her eyes. Her ability to penetrate with the dribble and find her open teammate by kicking it or dropping it down is high level for her age. Cici can hit a defender with a head fake and knock down the runner like it’s second nature. She pushes the ball with pace in transition and can hit the 3 ball with a nice stepback move in her bag.
