With a wrap on her left thumb/wrist, it was a quiet scoring night for the senior who is usually known for her sharpshooting. Still was active and smart on the offensive end, scoring some points around the rim. While also often making her presence felt on the defensive end with steals and deflections. She’s a long arm guard with good height, giving her real “3 and D” potential at the next level. For Locust Grove’s playoff run goals, hopefully she’ll find her shooting touch from deep that eluded her on Monday night.

Small town shooter with fantastic size to compliment her textbook shooting form. Has a sweet, compact release. Which allows her to pull quickly and shoot over the outstretched arms of close out defenders. Is another prospect on this list that has helped her high school team to state tournament appearances. And then proceeded to ball out nationally for a quality girls UAA Banshees team.

Continuing the theme of shooters who also help their squads make deep runs. Hooker has been a key part of back to back 4A State Tournament runs for the Pirates. Cleared 1,000 points for her career. Along with making it rain from deep, she is money from the free throw line. Which is often a strong indicator of her shooting ability being translatable to the next level. Has it been mentioned that she’s nearly 6 foot tall, with long arms and the ability to get into the mid-range after being ran off the line? While she does have regional offers, it’s kind of shocking she doesn’t have more offers.

Hooker is from Oklahoma but she is also long and athletic, which is still the base. Her pull-up jumper is smooth, so is her “catch and shoot” but she also mixes it up and attacks the basket to score from multiple angles, and her court vision was solid

3’s and Defense are always recruitable traits. Especially when they come with positional size. Which at 5 foot 11, the Locust Grove Lady Pirate has in spades. Quick release knock downs. And the quickness to close out and swat shots on the perimeter. Or help out in the paint. Northeastern State is a recent offer, which shouldn’t be her last as she works to level up her game with the national schedule of the Banshees.

A shooter with great range that is a must find on defense. Great size for a shooting guard listed at 5’11 with length and speed. The shooting range is deep folks I am talking logo range on the floor. I have seen her hit the shot off the bounce or just a simple square up read the defense hit all net. Most shooters you run off the line which is just fine with her cause she can attack the rim fishing with the nice soft shot. Good vision on the drive hitting the drop to the post for easy bucket.

Claire joined the 1.000 point club this season as a junior. Connected on (60) 3’s this season while shooting at 38% beyond the arch. A player that focuses on the small things like free throws (89%) from the Charity Stripe. Earned First Team All Conference and Tulsa World Ms. Outside. Anyone looking for that tall 3 guard that can shoot and defend give her a look.

A key member of the massive frontline and backcourt for the fourth ranked Class 4A Locust Grove Lady Pirates. They routinely beat teams by 20+ points and Hooker fills up the stat sheet in those wins. On the year she’s averaging 14 points, 5 steals 4 rebounds and 3 assists. There’s only a slight area to improve, as for a shooter of her quality 36% from three is a tad low. Locust Grove will surely need clutch shooting from her to compete with the other juggernaut squads in a loaded Class 4A.

A shooting guard thatirst can play 2-3-spot on the floor. Good footwork on the catch and shoot not needing much space to knock down the outside shot. Moves great off the ball always providing an out for a player driving to the rim. Patience on the drive looking for the lane to open up then attacking the rim.

Earned First Team All Conference as a sophomore. On pace to score 1,000 points and grab 500 rebounds in her career

“Film Watched” via social media Good perimeter shooter, who in this video always follows through and finishes high. Looks to have some ability to put it on the floor, with good touch around the rim. Tough on defense, uses plus wingspan to block shots or deflect passes. Can see the “3 and D” upside for her.
