Clare is an elite defender in the post, and she’s going to be a crucial part of Negaunee’s postseason success. Clare is long, athletic, mobile, strong, and ruthless on the boards. She has great passing instincts, good footwork, and maintains excellent positioning in the paint on both ends. Clare cleans up around the basket and can disrupt shots on the perimeter. She’ll be one of the best forwards competing in District 33.

Clare has been a pillar in the Negaunee basketball program, and her stock really went up over the summer. Clare was a top performer at the Zero Star Basketball Showcase and the MBA Mother’s Day Classic. She possesses the qualities you want in a college forward. Clare is athletic, long, physical, strong, and will not be outworked on the court. She pursues 50/50 balls and rebounds with fierce determination. Clare has excellent vision and passing instincts. She finishes well off two feet, closes out hard to block shots, and has the lateral quickness to defend the perimeter. Clare is one of the best post defenders in the class and will be a great addition to a college program. She picked up an offer from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in June.

Clare makes winning plays and does whatever she needs to do to help the team succeed. She’s a versatile forward prospect with skills, mobility, athleticism, and determination that stand out. Clare made smart decisions with the ball, communicated with teammates, and showed good footwork around the basket. She knocked down threes from different spots during the shooting drills and finished contested layups with both hands off two feet. Clare worked relentlessly to secure rebounds on both ends, finished offensive rebound put-backs, and chased down 50/50 balls. I noted that Clare was a great interior defender and passer out of the post. She dished a great jump pass entry assist and several more to cutters with her back to the basket. Clare has the foot speed, strength, and length to protect the rim and defend the perimeter. She was a Top Performer at the Zero Star Showcase and should be on more college radars right now.

Clare from Negaunee is one of the hardest workers you’ll ever see on the court. She has the strength and height to defend the paint, plus the foot speed to defend the perimeter. Clare boxes out forcefully to secure rebounds and pursues 50/50 balls with determination. She finishes well around the basket and plays effectively off two feet. Every team needs a Clare to set the standard, and I’m excited to see her again this weekend at the Zero Star Showcase.

Clare left a great impression because of her non-stop hustle and rebounding presence for Zero Star Basketball at the MBA Mother’s Day Classic. I wrote down in my notes that Clare never stops working for rebounds and that she worked relentlessly to defend the post. She secured rebounds in the air after strong box outs and outworked others for pursuit rebounds on the floor. Clare knocked down free throws, scored offensive rebound put-backs, and broke up a breakaway layup by sprinting back in transition. Clare has a motor, toughness, and unselfishness that every coach needs on their roster.

Clare made a great impression at the PGH Live tourney and during the Zero Star Basketball Showcase in Michigamme. Clare is a tough rebounder on both ends of the court and she finishes with strength around the basket. Clare seals well in the low post, works hard defensively, and has effective pivoting footwork. She will be a key player and forward for the Miners this winter.
