Paige, a post player, made her presence felt during the 5-on-5 action at the Grand Valley Elite Camp. She was active on the glass, pulling down numerous offensive rebounds and giving her team extra possessions. Paige also showed a strong understanding of positioning in the post, using her body well to seal defenders and establish good position. She defended the interior with toughness and added a nice offensive play when she ripped from the high post and finished at the basket. Her rebounding, positioning, and physical play made her someone who caught my eye throughout the evening.

Paige is a forward prospect in the U.P. who has length, strength, polished footwork, good hands, finishing touch, a high motor, two-way presence, and IQ you want to have in your frontcourt at the college level. Paige also has the intangibles. She was determined to execute the skills correctly during the advanced basket finishes and doesn’t quit when facing adversity. Paige did well during the shot-fake step-through and reverse pivot segments, finishing efficiently with both hands. She showed her outside range by sinking multiple threes during the dribble-at and crack-back three shooting segment. Paige bullied defenders in the paint with her physical strength during the 1v1 segment, goes up strong off two feet, creates space with her shoulder, and has good touch around the basket. She forced a miss with great wall-up technique on defense, scored a strong catch and finish off two feet, and dished out a laser pass for an assist during 3v3. Paige continued to make her presence felt in 5v5 competition. She anticipated a spin move and blocked the shot, made an excellent entry pass with a soft touch, and secured many rebounds. Paige separated herself at the Yooper Hooper Showcase, and she’s going to be an excellent pickup for a college program.

Paige is a forward prospect coming down from the UP with Negaunee who will turn some heads over the next few days. She’s physical, strong-bodied, fundamentally sound in the post, a rim protector, a good passer, and has sound footwork. Paige anticipates drives and moves to open space, giving guards a perfect target for off-load passes on the move. She moved to open space and score with touch at the rim. Paige muscles into position for a strong offensive rebound and scored the putback. She pins defenders deep with her strong, wide steals, gets low, and catches entry passes with good hands. Paige holds her ground and will be a handful for opponents to try to match up against at Northwood Team Camp.

One of the top U.P. prospects, Paige delivered a fantastic performance at the Zero Star Showcase that instantly proved she belonged with the top posts in this class. She’s stocky, strong, long, and very skilled in the paint. Paige defends well without fouling and works hard to own the glass. She scores with excellent footwork and finishes well using either hand. Paige muscles her way into position for high-percentage shots, pins defenders with a strong stance in the paint, catches passes with great hands, and goes up strong to score through contact. A big stock riser, Paige is a prospect more colleges across the state will need to have on their radar.

Paige has clearly been putting in the work since last summer. She checks the boxes needed to play the college game as a forward. Long, physically developed, filled-out frame, mobile, and a two-way difference maker. Paige stood out in 2v2 with her length, athleticism, and great hands in the paint. She caught a pass, spun, and finished off two, then attacked downhill hard off the dribble, finishing the contested layup with strength at the rim. In games, Paige continued to impose her will inside. She muscles her way to the front of the basket and dominates once she gets there. Paige sealed her defender with a strong, wide stance, presenting an open target, then pivoted to score layups off two feet with her right and left. Paige made a smooth transfer for a catch and finish off two feet and powered up to score through hard contact for another layup. She works hard to defend in the post, battling for the advantage, and wins battles for rebounds. Paige raised her stock and was a Top Performer at the Zero Star Showcase.

Paige had a very productive sophomore season for a Negaunee team that finished the regular season ranked in the top 25. She received Mid-Peninsula Conference All-UP Second Team honors and recognition as WestPAC First Team All-Conference. Paige is effective in the screen and roll. She finishes well off two feet, scores through contact, and can push the ball up the court to score in transition. Paige moves her feet well to cut off drives and blocks shots with good body control to avoid fouling. She anticipates passes from help and uses her length to create steals. Paige is a physical and determined rebounder who gives the Miners an advantage in the front court.
