About Davinee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I base my gameplay on a three level scoring offensive skill set. I can drive to the basket with confidence, shoot from long range, and create my own shot off the dribble. I like to be aggressive and also get the team involved. My basketball IQ helps with my style and it allows me to be a leader and support the team as a whole. Defensively, I am not afraid of contact and can defend all around.

Your personality embodies the traits of a relentless winner, characterized by an unwavering drive to succeed in every endeavor. This determination to win fuels your work ethic and motivates you to push through challenges, always striving excellence.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Club Volleyball - Oiler Attack Student Scholar

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Starting varsity as a freshman helped strengthen my communication skills and build rapport with teammates. This ability to communicate clearly and efficiently enhances teamwork, fosters, collaboration and contributes to a positive team dynamic. These skills not only benefit your athletic performance but also serve you well in various aspects of life.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Coming in to my freshman year I was at a basketball camp and I tore my PCL, meaning i had to sit out for 3 months minimum. My whole life I’ve done sports and never had to sit out for that long for an injury. So this is my first challenge for me physically and mentally. After putting in a lot of work that summer i came back better for basketball and had a breakout season.

What type of college are you looking for?

A teaching atmosphere that is supportive and helps on personal growth. I want to be in a place that I’m challenged, supported, and motivated and still have fun! I also want a college that has strong academic support.

Harris is scary good..REAL GOOD. She made some serious noise as a freshman, averaging 17 ppg. Davinee is a pest on defense, makes buckets while being heavily guarded, spreads the defense with her deep 3’s, and her court vision is next level. This young lady can ball! Beautiful hesitation moves with the rock! Her whole game is smooth!
