is a pure scorer, most everyone knows that – But there is so much more to her game than shooting the basketball. After collecting her 6th assist of the night on a fast break behind the back dime, Delainey could only smile as she ran back on defense. Her ability to score or pass at a high rate in the mid-range area is fun to watch. If the defense gets lazy she will attack, and when they are in good position she patiently waits for a secondary cutter and hits them in stride with the precision of a surgeon. It’s obvious Delainey’s awesome experience making it to the EYBL Championship at the Nike TOC in Chicago went a long way for this already stellar player. Big senior year is coming for sure.

Delainey’s style of play makes it really tough to decide who is going to defend her. She has some decent guard skills but also has a very solid post-game. Whether it’s facing up and blowing past or just making simple moves with her back to the basket. Regardless she is more than comfortable doing either one.

Hard to not find value in her shotmaking, contributing 67% of attempts from the field. The start to her season has been particularly productive, averaging 15.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Her defensive rebounding cannot be overlooked either, currently leading this undefeated group in boards per game, sturdy while constantly seeking box outs. was able to make her presence felt all season. She served as a point-forward controlling the game in a different way each game, depending on what the team needed. Which was mainly on the offensive end. Her willingness to take a backseat and let the game come to her would make it hard for teams to gameplan for her. While most of her work was done at the rim on smaller guards, she did show the ability to put the ball down on the wing and attack.
