Pierce has such good defensive intensity, sits low, keeps her eyes on the ball, and her main goal aside from picking pockets is to make her opponent make errors so she can take off down the floor to score. She handles the rock very well, pushes the ball in transition and sees the next smart pass. She also has great body control getting to the rim and creates great looks from penetrating to the basket, even sometimes resulting in and-ones. She hits her extra points from the free-throw line.
