What an important piece to the team Destiny has been. She’s been giving her all and showing just what type of multifaceted wing player, she can be. The sense of urgency, effort given on 50/50 balls, along with excellent defensive instincts really do stand out. Not to mention she’s a selfless player that’s excited to make the extra pass to assist a teammate in an easier basket. Destiny has also started to show she can score the ball effectively when her number is called. In the last game watched against Phillips Exeter she had 13 pts, 3 reb, 3 ast along with a steal in a close loss. Destiny is a player to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

Destiny added 13 points, including 2-of-5 from three, and showed her ability to score at all levels. She’s a strong mid-range shooter who sets her feet quickly and gets her shot off with ease, and her range extends well beyond the arc where she shoots with impressive confidence. She also came through in the clutch, knocking down a big three late in the game.

Destiny had a procedure done a few months back and everything went well following it. The rehab is the main focus, but her return next season will be absolutely valuable to a new-look Wheeler squad that’s looking to make a change within the culture. She’ll be a main piece to their operation and her 2-way abilities will be used in a plethora of scenarios. Davidson embodies everything a coach is looking for in a selfless player. Destiny can fill a handful of roles plus she leads to winning basketball. The ’30 wing doesn’t take away from others, adds to her team’s chemistry, can defend multiple positions and she’s efficient in her minutes.

Formerly a 2029 prospect, Destiny recently made the decision to reclass to ’30 as a member of the Wheeler School. The young wing is 1/2 of the synergetic pair known as the Davidson Twins. A very popular duo from RI that’ve been some of the best in their age range for a while now. Destiny is a hardworking guard who gets after it on both sides of the ball. She finds ways to affect the game without the ball in her hands, sets solid screens and loves to make the extra pass. Her ability to hit free-throws is an underrated trait that can be a tool used to sway close games. Davidson isn’t afraid to do whatever it takes as a defender to get the stop either. She’s one of those players that gets back on defense without even thinking about it. With her length and agility on the perimeter, she’s a real promising wing player. Right now, Destiny is recovering from an offseason procedure. She’ll be resting for the coming months, but will be back stronger than ever, looking to make an impact. Wheeler will be an excellent opportunity for Destiny to blossom into a premier player.
