Expert Analysis
David Fortner | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Destiny is the anchor in the paint. The best shot blocker in the region and a constant presence around the rim. Drivers think twice. Post players rush shots. Guards settle for floaters they do not want. Her length and timing completely shift how teams attack. She protects the rim with authority and changes games on that end alone.

Destiny was one of the hottest prospects on the scene this spring and summer, racking up over eight college offers. After leading North Hardin in both scoring (14.4 PPG) and rebounds (7.2 RPG) last season, the No.1 center in the class of 2026 is poised for an even bigger senior campaign as one of the top returning players in the 5th Region.

Scott has great positional size at 6’2 and averaged team highs in 14 points and 7 rebounds per game this past season. Destiny has the potential to average a double double in her Senior season and has shown she can step out and make shots after she hit 36% of her three point attempts as a Junior.

After the junior season Destiny put together, it was only a matter of time before the offers started rolling in. The No. 1 center in the 2026 class added more offers to her bag this month from Motlow State, John A. Logan, and Olney Central College, bringing her total to five college offers since the start of the AAU season, and it’s safe to say, she’s not done yet. Destiny’s size, skill, and presence in the paint make her one of the most dominant post players in her class, and her recruitment continues to trend upward.

A 6’2″ post player who has steadily honed her craft over the years. She has a great work ethic, is very coachable, driven, and marches to the beat of her own drum. An inside-out scoring threat, who can also protect the rim and secure rebounds on both ends. This AAU season, she’s running with Sport City Angels and recently picked up her first offer from Division II Salem University. During her junior season at North Hardin, she led the team with 14.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, while shooting an impressive 84.2% from the free throw line.

She hit consecutive mid range jumpers with a very smooth shot, elevates and release the ball well. Long, athletic can defend, great wingspan, and has a nose for the ball. Strong leader! (Featured photo above)

Destiny took a major leap in her junior season, leading her team in both points (14.4) and rebounds (7.2) per game. Standing at 6’2″ with an incredibly long wingspan, she brings a unique blend of size and versatility to floor. Destiny is a big with guard-like abilities. She handles the ball confidently, knocks down perimeter jumpers, and would thrive in pick-and-roll or pick-and-pop situations. She has a college ready frame and is a excellent rim runner. On offense, she demonstrates solid footwork and makes the most of her paint touches, while being able to erase shots from in the paint and at the perimeter on defense. Destiny reached 1,000 career points, and 600 rebounds and was a 1st Team All-Region selection. I think she will garner a lot of interest from college coaches during the travel season.

19 points, 8 rebounds, 7 blocks, 7/11 FG, & 4/6 3-PT FG vs Bullitt East
