Dezirae has great length and potential. She has the versatility to play multiple positions, and that’s going to make her an asset at the high school level. She wasn’t afraid to dive on the floor to secure a loose ball, stayed active as a rebounder, and sprinted back to defend in transition. Dezirare showed off her handles, changing hands quickly with a variety of between-the-legs/crossover dribbles before driving through the paint. She fit right in with Team Two at the Illinois Freshman Showcase and will be an intriguing prospect to watch over the coming years.
