Brooklyn has versatility as a stretch forward with her length and ability to stretch the floor as a shooter. She showed her outside range by sinking a corner three, circling on the perimeter to provide an outside threat. Brooklyn rotated from the middle to block a shot and demonstrated good help-side awareness as a shot blocker. She set strong ball-screens for guards to give them open driving lanes and had height that stood out with Team 10 at the PGH Sophomore Illinois ID Camp.

Aldeton will have most of her impact onthe floor from below the nail, but she has the confidence to stretch the court and take those 3 pointers, if the defense allows it. Her length does more work defensively, and she’s able to alter or block shots without needing to leave the ground. The potential is there.

Alderton plays the post position like a true post. During the games that i watched, she showed good hands on the roll and nice touch under the rim.
