She averaged 14.9 points per game her senior season, helped the Wolverines with the Southwest Conference Title, and was named to the All-Conference First Team. Wright is a steadfast player who can take over a game from behind the arc. She scored 19 points on 5-for-8 from three-point range against top-ranked Clackamas. The Conference Champion averaged 15 points, shooting 43.9% from the field, and 7 rebounds, including 4 offensive rebounds per game at the state tournament, helping Willamette get to the Final Four and earning herself a spot on the All-Tournament First Team. The junior shows incredible promise as one of the top prospects for the next level with her 6’0 size combined with her elite athleticism that allow her to play any position on the floor, 1-5. What is most exciting about Wright is that she has shown immense growth and improvement in each of her high school seasons, showing that the sky is the limit for her to just keep on getting better.

She’s a tall guard with long strides and a little bit of wiggle who got downhill and to the cup with some regularity. She showed she can burst by defenders or play through some contact and finish either way. She pressed the issue inside to instigate some action and flow within the offense with the outcome usually being a bucket or a trip to the line where she was able to capitalize on her free throw attempts.

Diamond Wright Diamond Wright 6'0" | SF Willamette | 2025 State OR stepped up in huge ways for the Millers all season, and she did exactly that at the state tournament in McMinnville. She averaged 18.7 points on a crazy 57.5% shooting from the field, making more field goals than any other player there with 23 on the weekend. In the final two wins of the season, Wright put up 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal against Corvallis, and she closed the season out with a bang, earning Moda Health player of the game for her 30 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the 4th place victory over Mountain View. The talented junior has the size, skill, and athleticism to play just about any position on the floor, making her a very promising prospect to play at the next level. She will be the leader of this Springfield next season with her talents on full display.

, two-time 5A state player of the year and reigning state champion, is no stranger to the bright lights of the postseason. Although Springfield has undergone a lot of changes to their roster this season, they have fought their way back to the final eight and are hungry to win. Romero Ah-Sam turned it up a notch in the Millers’ opening round win against a very good Central team, finishing with 27 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists. She and Springfield take on league rival Crater, who has gotten the best of them twice this season, in their game on March 7, so expect more big things from her.

Diamond Wright Diamond Wright 6'0" | SF Willamette | 2025 State OR has been shining bright this season. Nearing her 1,000 point milestone, Wright has had quite a few jaw-dropping performances. In some recent league games, she had a double-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 assist, and 1 steal against North Eugene, as well as 29 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist against Grants Pass. Wright is long and incredibly athletic with the ability to shoot with range, making her a nightmare match-up for just about anyone, and allowing her to wreak havoc on the defensive end as well.
